City Hall COVID-19 Update for Clearwater Citizens
With the Sedgwick County Board of Health “Stay at Home” order effective Wednesday, March 25th at 12:01am the City wanted to update citizens on what is happening in Clearwater. A link to the Stay at Home Order will be provided below.

Continued changes to City and community activities:
- City Hall is closed to the Public. All City services remain operational and City employees remain available to assist the public during normal business hours. Questions, concerns or problems can be handled by calling 620-584-2311 and talking to City Staff. You can also reach the Cemetery District at 316-633-8609.
- The Police Department lobby is closed to the Public. Please call 620-584-2349 if you have questions. Permits for golf carts/utility vehicles that are due for renewal during this time will be extended for 30 days.
- If you have a question regarding an upcoming court case, please contact the Court Clerk at 620-584-2317. In adherence of the County Order court will be postponed for the next 30 days.
- The Senior Center is closed to the Public and scheduled activities have been cancelled until further notice. Commodities pickup (Food Assistance Program) will continue and Friendship meals will continue in its current form. You can contact the Senior Center at 620-584-2332 or City Hall if you have questions.
- To make utility payments we request you use the drop box on the east side of City Hall, pay by phone or pay on-line at www.clearwaterks.org . Court payments can be made by phone or by drop box.
- The Clearwater Wellness Center is closed until further notice. Please watch the Wellness Center Facebook page and website, www.clearwaterwc.org for updates.
- The Clearwater Public Library is closed through March 28th. You can visit their Facebook page for more information.
- The Recreation Commission has suspended all activities. Please go to their Facebook page or website, www.clearwaterrec.org to stay updated.
- The Art Walk scheduled for April 3rd has been postponed.
- The April 18th citywide cleanup has been cancelled and Waste Connections will try to reschedule if possible. Weekly trash and bi-weekly recycling services continue per usual.
To stay in compliance with the County Order, the City does not recommend use of playground equipment in the City Park or at the schools. We do encourage citizens to get out and use the open spaces of our parks and the walking paths. Please use social distancing guidelines while out in the community.
The City of Clearwater takes the health of our community and staff who serve our community seriously. The City continues to monitor and will follow updates from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) as well as State and County health officials. Thank you for your assistance in helping to keep Clearwater healthy.
