The City of Clearwater maintains 52.4 acres of parks.  This area includes the Chisholm Trail Sports Complex west of the current high school and the City Park on the north side of Ross Avenue between 1st and 4th Avenues.   The park area consists 8.6 percent of the developed land in the City of Clearwater and 2.4 acres per 100 populations.

The City maintains these two major park areas with one aquatic center, a historical museum, 4 baseball/softball diamonds, 3 or 4 soccer fields based on configuration, 2 picnic shelters, 2 playgrounds, horseshoe pits, restroom facilities, nature area, and walking trail.

The City Park Shelter House may be reserved for family gatherings, birthday parties, meetings, and picnics.  Bring the Community Event Application to City Hall to reserve your date.
