William (Tex) Titterington and his wife, Michelle, moved to Clearwater December 1990. They have three children and seven grandchildren.  Tex and Michelle grew up in small towns in Oklahoma and Michigan respectively and settled in Clearwater specifically for the outstanding schools and small town appeal. Their son Sean is a 2001 graduate of Clearwater High School and their daughter Sherri is a 2003 Clearwater graduate. They both live in Clearwater and their kids are currently attending Clearwater schools.  Their youngest, Kristina, is a student at Clearwater High School. A fun coincidence for Tex is that his High School was also known as the Indians and used the same style Indian as a mascot and his school colors were also Blue and White

Tex is a retired U. S. Army Officer having served 11 years on active duty and 17 years as a reservist. He worked at Fidelity Bank in Wichita upon leaving active duty and moving to Clearwater.  In 1998 he began working as a government employee in support of the army reserve where he continues to work.  His active army positions over the years have ranged from a Basic Training Commander, Combat Engineer, Facility Operations Officer for the US Army in Frankfurt Germany to Recruiting Commander in the San Francisco Bay area. Positions with the army reserve included planning and operations of approximately 100 facilities in the states of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska, service contracts and environmental compliance. His current position is responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of approximately 34 facilities and three local training areas in 32 communities in Kansas and western Missouri. He attended El Reno Community College and is a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University as well as the Army Command and General Staff College.

His goal is to work to help Clearwater move into the future as a modern, safe, friendly small town that its residents can be Proud to call Home.
