I am originally from Beaufort, South Carolina, where I lived until I left for college. My wife, Amy, and I with our two children moved to Clearwater in 1997 to be closer to my family. Both of our children attended and are Clearwater High School graduates. I served two 4 year terms on the USD 264 school board, and was president from 2008 to 2009. I also served on Recreation Commission for 2 years and 3 years on Fall Fest Committee.
Education & Career
I graduated from the U.S. Military Academy in 1986 with a bachelor of science in Engineering Management. I served in the Army as an Armor Officer for 5 years and am a veteran of Operation Desert Shield and Storm.
I have been the Administrative Manager for Sedgwick County Public Works for the past 15 years. Through these experience I have seen the need for solid leadership in civic positions to maintain and see communities grow to their potential.
